How often does an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) need to be carried out?

Here are some of the most popular types of electrical installation and the maximum period between the EICR being carried out.
Industrial - 3 Years
Commercial - 5 Years or change of occupancy
Offices - 5 Years
Retail - 5 Years
Domestic - 10 Years
Rented accommodations - 5 Years or change of occupancy

Hotels and restaurants - 5 Years
Places of worship - 5 Years
Community buildings - 5 years
Public entertainment places - 3 Years
Leisure centres (excluding swimming pools) - 3 Years
