How often does an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) need to be carried out?
We get asked this question a lot, so we thought it would be a good idea to try our best to answer it!
The interval between EICR is mainly affected (but limited to!) the following: -

Any external influences to which it is subjected
Quality and / or frequency of maintenance
Are there any existing or previous certificates / condition reports?
Here are some of the most popular types of electrical installation and the maximum period between the EICR being carried out.
